Saint Ninian, Saint Columba and Saint Mungo are the big three of our earliest Christian history in Scotland. Saint Ninian died in 432, Saint Columba in 597 and Saint Mungo in 603. Clearly Saint Ninian is the earliest and the other two lived at the same time as each other. Some favour one over the others, but what is not acceptable is to dismiss any of them as unimportant. The mature thing to do is honour all three.
