As I said in the previous post, I am fascinated by how those first pioneers of our Faith actually spoke to people who had never ever heard the name of Christ before. What did they say? How did they attract people to Him?
I suggested it was through the Lord’s own words on loving your neighbour and loving your enemy. Perhaps that message came at the right time for a violent society. Or perhaps it was the message of Christian Marriage bringing stability to a society that was confused or lustful or self-indulgent, and they were looking for something better. Perhaps it was the message of Christ’s Resurrection helping people to make sense of this earthly life and its purpose.
