The latest edition of the Scalan News, the twice-yearly publication of the Scalan Association has just gone into the Royal Mail. It is not available here, because people would read it and not pay their subscription! So, why not send your £10 subscription to the Treasurer, c/o St. Michaels, 133 Glenmanor Avenue, Moodiesburn, G69 0DL, and one will be sent to you through the post or by e-mail if you prefer. Cheques should be written out to "Scalan Association". Copies of past editions of the Scalan News can be viewed on the website (www.scalan.net), from no. 1 to 48. More recent editions will let you see its present format.
